Confederate Colonel inscribed Colt 1861 Navy. Very interesting gun. This gun is inscribed to Colonel Joel R Griffin of the 62nd Georgia Infantry. This gun is all matching and has a smooth patina throughout the metal. The cylinder has small nicks and dings where it appears the cylinder was used to hammer on something. Back strap is inscribed “Colonel Joel R. Griffin 62nd Regt Ga Inf” Hard to find an authentic Southern inscribed Colt!
