U.S. Colt Model 1917 .45 ACP (C17675)

This is an excellent WWI Colt U.S. Model 1917 45ACP revolver. The 5.5" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun has approx. 95% blue with fading on the forward grip strap. The factory polish line at the front sight is clearly visible. The upper left of the frame has an S15 inspection stamp. All markings are standard for the Model 1917. The grips are excellent with light issue wear and no cracks or chips. The action functions correctly. Most Model 1917s saw extensive use. Very few are finer than this one.
