Colt Model 1902 Military Automatic Pistol (C17666)

This 38 Rimless Smokeless Colt 1902 Military Model is circa 1920. It features the rear slide serrations and spur hammer. The 6" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The left side of the slide is stamped PATENTED over APR. 20. 1897. SEPT. 9. 1902 with COLT'S PT.F.A.MFG.CO. over HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A with the Colt rampant horse logo at the rear. The right side is stamed AUTOMATIC COLT over CALIBER 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS. The gun retains approx. 98% blue overall. The hammer has visible case colors. The ecellent correct 8 shot magazine is marked on the base MIL over COLT over 38 CAL. The checkered hard rubber grips with the rampant colt and COLT are excellent with no chips or cracks. The lanyard loop is present. The action functions correctly. This Colt 1902 Military Model pistol is ready for the finest colletion. It would never need upgrading.
