Colt New Service Target .455 Eley (C17529)

Rare flat top Target model in .455 caliber, made in 1916. Has a 7.5" barrel with excellent bright bore. The action works perfectly. Has numerous British proof marks. The front and rear grip straps are checkered, as is the trigger. Has very desirable fleur-de-lis checkered grips with deep dish Colt medallions. The metal has 98% original factory blue with some typical British handling wear. This gun was probably sent to England for use in the Bisley shooting matches. A rare and desirable Colt New Service Target revolver.
