Colt New Line .22 Revolver (AC278)
The Colt New Line seven-shot 22 revolver was made between 1873 and 1877. This is the second model with long cylinder flutes. The left side of the barrel is etched COLT NEW 22 and the top has the standard Colt name and address. The 2.25" barrel has a good bore with some firing erosion. The gun retains approx. 85% of its nikel finish with loss on the barrel bottom, top strap, cylinder, and left side. The top strap has a series of small dents. This revolver is circa 1876. The rosewood grips are fine. The action functions correctly.
