Colt 1st Gen. Single Action Army .38-40 (AC182)

Manufactured in 1898. The action works perfectly and indexes and locks up in perfect time. Bore is good plus with fair rifling. All markings are sharp and clear. The front sight has been lowered to suit the shooter. The grips are old mother of pearl and have some light stains in three spots on the left grip. There is a very small chip out of the left side heel. The overall finish is a light gray patina that looks very attractive with the old mother of pearl grips.
