Pre-war Mannlicher Schoenauer carbine in popular 6.5x54 MS caliber, with double set triggers. The metal has some light surface pitting in a few spots and has about 70% blue remaining. The bore is excellent, bright and shiny. The stock shows typical hunting wear and has a recoil pad added, LOP is 14". A peep sight is mounted on the bolt. A classic Austrian carbine.

The rifle has approximately 90% of its original blue. the slide handle has a repaired old crack on the right side. The stock is very good and has 90% of its original varnish. Military Mauser rifle that's been custom sporterized in the "African" style with long checkered stock. The barrel is 20" and the action and floor plate have been engraved in a folksy style. The bolt is nickel plated and a quarter rib sight has been added. The bore is excellent. A neat and unusual Mauser carbine.
