Serial number38300. Made in 1870.  44 RF caliber with a 24” barrel. Bolt has also been converted to centerfire, so this gun is technically in dual caliber. Barrel  has a chocolate brown patina. The frame, forend cap and butt plate is very nicely New York engraved.  Frame still has most of the original nickel finish. Wood is very good....
