Back strap is marked "Metropolitan Police Department D.C." in script. This had to be a small run of this revolver for the Metro Police! Action works perfectly. Left side grip has a chip near heel. Metal has a thinning blue turning to patina. Good overall condition. A rare Police marked model!

Third Issue Officer's Model made in 1927. Barrel is 6". Frame has an area of pitting near cylinder release. Bore is excellent. Metal has minor etching with approximately 90% original finish. "Fair" overall condition.
British proof marked New Service model made in 1916. Barrel is 5 1/2" and marked .455 Eley. The cylinder chambers have been opened up for 45 Long Colt. Bore is excellent. Metal has a gray patina with some blue in protected areas. Grips are stag. Lanyard hole has been plugged. Action works perfectly and locks up tight. "Good" overall condition.
Scarce nickel 4 1/2" New Service model made in 1922. Revolver has approximately 60%-65% of it's original finish. Bore is very good with a few minor pits approximately 2" from muzzle. Action indexes perfectly and locks up tight. Good overall condition. Comes with a vintage holster.
Civilian version of the New Army model made in 1902. Has been refinished and looks great. Action works properly. Bore has strong rifling with pitting. Barrel is 4 1/2". Grips are very good no cracks.
Interesting pre-war revolver with 6" barrel. Has been customized with a S&W adjustable rear sight and a King's front sight. The barrel has been refinished, probably at the time the sight was added. The rest of the gun has very good original blue, with the grip frame having a blue/brown patina. Has great looking old stag grips. The bore is excellent and the action locks up tight.
