Colt 1877 Lightning & Thunderer

Serial Number 99038. 38 caliber with a 3 ½” barrel. This gun is in very good condition with 80% of the original nickel finish. Fire blue remains on the screws. Grips are good and show carry wear. This is a sheriff’s model which means there is an absence of the ejector rod housing. Action works well. Very fine Colt Sheriff’s model Colt 1877 Lightning.

Manufactured in 1904. The barrel is 4.5". The bore is very good plus, shiny with strong rifling and light etching towards the rear of the barrel. The action works perfectly. The grips are excellent. The revolver has approximately 92% of its original blue and is beginning to fade. The hammer and trigger have most of their nitre blue intact. Overall very good condition.

Made in 1899. 41 caliber with a 4 ½” barrel.  Approximately 25% of the original nickel remains. Grips are good showing normal handling wear. Ejector Rod is missing. Action holds full cock and locks up tight, but does not have half cock. Gun works fine in double action.
